Ultraframe is a market leader in the design and manufacture of conservatory roof systems.
When the company decided to expand its product range to include ‘lantern style’ skylights (or ‘sky lanterns’), they turned to Noise to help them move successfully in to this new market.
Building on the strength of their existing brand, Ultraframe launched their new product range as a sub-brand: ‘UltraSky’. The new brand would target a growing market for skylights in single storey extensions and would be sold directly to the tradespeople and builders delivering these popular renovation projects. Ultraframe asked Noise to develop a new website and digital marketing strategy to establish UltraSky as a competitive brand in the skylight industry.
The first task for Noise was to create an e-commerce site for UltraSky. One of Ultraframe’s key selling points is that they offer outstanding service and an easy, efficient ordering and installation process. It was vital that the new website also embodied this commitment to customer service by providing an effortless user experience.
We designed the site to deliver exactly what the trade customer needs: product specifications and details to inform their purchase, an outline of the order and installation process, a simple online ordering facility and information on how to contact the UltraSky team for more support. The site provides a one stop shop for builders and self-installers to buy the skylight they require, at trade prices.
From our substantial experience working with clients across the construction industry, we know that tradespeople often rely on mobiles to conduct business and place orders on the go. So our developers made sure that the whole website, including the ordering process, is completely responsive and makes use of lists and graphics to present key information, making it easy to access and use on mobile devices.
As UltraSky started to gain traction and the website began to receive orders, Ultraframe asked Noise deliver a digital marketing strategy that would help them compete with more established manufacturers in the skylight sector.
This was Ultraframe’s first experience of direct online sales to trade customers but Noise were happy to support their sales team by sharing our experience of converting internet traffic in to sales.
We worked together to better understand and optimise their route to market. Our strategy included PPC investment, regular key word rich blog posts both on the UltraSky site and sponsored posts on other platforms. Blog content also helps to link the existing Ultraframe brand with the new UltraSky proposition, highlighting how the company’s new products combine cutting edge materials and contemporary design with the trusted quality and high specifications that Ultraframe are known for.
Noise continue to work with UltraSky to strengthen their position in the skylight sector. We are continually developing our digital marketing strategy to achieve the best possible conversion rates and give UltraSky, and their customers, the best possible results.
