PHP / My SQL Back end developer

Job Type: Permanent

Noise Agency are currently expanding, in response to our clients' needs and increasing portfolio of work. These are exciting times, and the successful applicant will be joining an enthusiastic team working with a portfolio of high profile, well-respected businesses and brands.

The successful candidate will be positively encouraged to get involved in all of the company’s current projects and be expected to lend their support and skills to achieve the most effective results. The Role:

This role is focused on managing the interchange of data between the application and the browser. This successful candidate will be tasked with the server-side of programming for the web, yet also understands the programming languages which control the display of content in the browser.

Skills required for this position:

  • PHP
  • MySQL
  • HTML, CSS
  • JavaScript, jQuery

We would also love you to have…

  • Ability to create robust, reusable, well-tested code.
  • Knowledge of PHP, Plesk, Linux, MySQL and Apache
  • Experience with custom and open source web application development.
  • Developed with at least one CMS framework or web application framework.
  • Employed a framework or extended an existing CMS with custom coding.
  • Inserting, querying and managing data stored in databases or files.
  • Knowledgeable about accessibility or security compliance.
  • Understands the underlying systems on which web applications are developed.
  • Understands the technologies and languages which power the web such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Understands key server-side web development concepts.
  • Integration of 3rd party payment gateways.
  • Experience Web services (SOAP, REST, JSON and API's).
  • Working with data API's in XML and JSON.
