Tangerine Holdings is a privately-owned company working across a range of sectors from animal nutrition to football.
In 2016 the company opened an exciting new venture: Mill farm, a sports and leisure village at the heart of the Fylde Coast.
Tangerine Holdings asked Noise to work with them on the launch of the site’s restaurants and events venues – a key part of the development that would be crucial to the site’s success.
Our task was to create three promotional films to introduce Mill farm’s three distinctive food and hospitality venues: Bradley’s Sports Bar, Churchill’s Conference and Function Suites and Milano’s, a restaurant offering authentic Mediterranean cuisine. We began the process by spending time with Tangerine Holdings establishing their aspirations and targets for the development at the time of its launch.
Whatever the project, Noise always ensure that we begin by building an in-depth and comprehensive picture of our client’s goals, so that we can select the best way forward to deliver exactly what they need, in a way that is completely in tune with the brand we’re working with.
In the case of Mill farm, the goal was to bring customers from near and far to enjoy these new venues and help to create a thriving hub of food, sport and leisure in the Fylde.
The films had to connect with local businesses and residents, welcoming them to these exciting new destinations right on their doorstep, while at the same time impressing corporate customers with the site’s premium facilities. To achieve this, we would need two vital ingredients.
First, excellent footage that would do justice to the development’s beautifully designed and finished interiors, exceptional food and unique setting. Second, genuine personal testimonies from people who had visited each venue for work or pleasure, with family, friends or colleagues. We used our extensive experience of film production to bring these two ingredients together, creating three films that introduced the development with warmth, personality and professionalism, just like the venues themselves.
The first venue to launch was Bradley’s Sports Bar. With a 9 screen TV wall and the capacity to show 4 live events simultaneously, Bradley’s is an ambitious new venture and one close to the heart of the company’s Chairman David Haythornthwaite. It is the premier sporting venue in Lancashire and is on track to become the top sports bar in the UK.
To launch Bradley’s we produced a film that is brimming with the same passion and vitality that define the venue. We used Bradley’s brand and typeface throughout to bring the bar’s distinctive identity to the fore and punctuated the film with bold headlines announcing the bar’s unique selling points. Our experienced production team recorded testimonies from customers enjoying the bar’s hugely successful opening night and selected a range of voices to illustrate the broad appeal of Bradley’s. The reviews were overwhelmingly positive and the hubbub of the bar in the background speaks volumes for Bradley’s infectiously good atmosphere. We also included a personal word from David, sharing his vision for the bar.
The result is bold, fun, full of personality and leaves you in no doubt that at Bradley’s you’ll always have a good time.
Milano’s is a taste of the Mediterranean brought home. It offers delicious authentic Mediterranean food and a warm, elegant setting that is perfect for sharing a meal with friends or family or celebrating a special occasion. The food is the star at Milano’s, so we worked closely with the Milano’s team to secure some stunning footage of the restaurant’s signature dishes and their pride and joy – an authentic Cuppone Giotto pizza oven.
The film captures the passion of the restaurant’s chefs and front of house team and is sure to make your mouth water. It was a joy to work with such a dedicated team, and we can testify for the quality of the pizzas!
Noise were delighted to be asked to contribute to this ambitious new development in our local area, and we thoroughly enjoyed being involved in the venue’s successful launch.
Set against the backdrop of the rolling Lancashire countryside, Churchill’s is a state of the art conference and events facility. Conference venues have a reputation for being faceless, but Churchill’s is anything but, so it was important that the film showcased its friendly staff, fantastic views and personal service.
We combined panoramic shots of the venue and its outlook with vibrant footage of functions in the venue that captured the atmosphere and individuality of each event.
The film follows the progress of an evening, from the careful laying out of the tables to late night drinks on the terrace, showing off the full range of Churchill’s spaces and services and demonstrating that the Churchill’s team can take care of every aspect of your event.
